Physiotherapy after oncology
During the visit after the oncological illnesses or surgeries, only unique, individualized and precise physiotherapy treatment is applied. The main purpose is to stimulate the healing processes, improving both the general state of health and the promoting recovery of specific tissues.
Physictherapy (after oncological surgery) focuses on normalization of scar and fibrotic tissue, which involves mobilization of soft tissues, restoring their elasticity, flexibility and preparation for normal functioning or possible reconstruction (eg breast implantation).
Very often after surgery, the amplitude of movement of the surrounding joints is disturbed due to fibrotic tissue adhesion and removal of the oncologic structure, therefore, the main focus of physiotherapy and manual therapy is general improvement of the condition, tissue flexibility and joint function.
